Starter pinion jammed in flywheel gear Repair or replace starter, or ring gear.

Solution
Recharge or replace.
Check ALT 65 amp fuse (F60) and
BAT 45 amp fuse (F61), and replace
if necessary.
Clean and tighten or replace batteries.
Clean and tighten or replace batteries.
Replace both batteries.
Replace battery.
Refill with distilled water and recharge
battery.
Replace battery and install hold down
clamp.
Replace battery and tighten hold
down clamp.
Replace battery. Keep batteries fully
charged in cold weather.
Add distilled water and recharge
battery.
Clean and wipe battery top dry.
Clean and tighten battery cables.
Wiggle battery post by hand. If
post wiggles or turns, replace both
batteries.
Recharge or replace.
Clean and tighten connections.
Check POWER ON 5 amp fuse (F17),
and replace if necessary.
Repair or replace starter.
