Multiple (Default) Port Configuration

This option allows you to set up a configuration profile, which can be used by multiple ports. This
procedure is best used when a large amount of ports share the same configuration setting.
1. Access the <default> configuration menu by using the following path:

Gateway->Configuration->Port->Default
The following menu appears:
2. If the ports will use the EXTender 1000, set the Enabled parameter to No. If you are using the
EXTender 3000, select Yes.
3. If every user will be sharing the same password then set the Password parameter on this screen.
Otherwise, clear the Password parameter and set it on a per port basis as described in Procedure 1
on page 106. Note that PBXgateway II – EXTender 1000 terminations only support passwords of up
to 10 digits.
4. Set the CH2 Mode parameter to Data.
5. If you are using the EXTender 1000, set the value of the CH2 Data Mode parameter to Modem. If
you are using the EXTender 3000, select ISDN-56K or ISDN-64K.
6. Access the Voice parameter menu:
