EXTender 1000 and 3000 User List Configuration
Note: The EXTender 1000 is supported on the DEFINITY protocol only.
Note: The EXTender 3000 is supported on the DEFINITY and Meridian protocols only.
The User List on the Gateway, allows you to allocate a list of ports that a user is allowed to access. Once
the User List is set up, the user will access the first available port assigned to him or her. The User List
can also store the password for the particular user. If the User List is used to configure the user
information, then make sure that the User ID and Password parameters in the Port configuration menu
(see page 106) are cleared.
1. Enter the User List menu by using the following path:

Gateway->User List
The following menu appears:
List Users will list the users that are set up to access the PBXgateway II.
Add New User allows you to add a new user to the list.
Delete User deletes a user from the list.
Edit User allows you to edit the access information of the particular user.
2. To add a new user, select the Add New User option from the menu. The Gateway will immediately
prompt you to enter a new User ID.
3. Enter a new unique User ID and press Enter. The following menu will appear:
Note: For EXTender 1000 and 3000 termination, you must use only digits for the User ID.
