Port Status LEDs

The PBXgateway II has twenty-four LEDs indicating the status of the user phones (Branch unit) or
PBX/KSU/DEFINITY ports (PBXgateway II).

Enable the Phone port as follows:
1. Connect the Gateway or Branch unit to the Management Interface (MI). See page 58.
2. Navigate to the Port menu using the following path:
->Configuration->Port
3. Check the "Enabled" field indicates "YES" or if the field is set to
<Default>, check that the default setting has all ports enabled.

Description
This indicates that one or all of the four DRAM tests have failed.
This hardware failure condition can be caused by a faulty internal
DRAM chip. Recycle the power on the unit and contact MCK if the
light remains "Red".
This indicates that there is a problem with a selftest, indicating a
possible hardware problem. Recycle the power on the unit and
contact MCK if the light remains "Yellow".
Enable the WAN port, if the WAN port is needed. (See Chapter 4 -
Enabling/Disabling WAN Ports for information.)
Check the wiring and cable pinouts between both units and the
network device. (See page 49 for pinout information.)
Check the cable.
Device connected but no network link to the alternate site. Possible
a network error between devices. Check all cables and power to
the units.
Description
Network link established. Try to establish a phone connection from
the Remote unit.
Phone at the remote site is online.
This test sends packets to the alternate site to check the network
condition.
