Similar to Fixed Mode, this mode requires the System Administrator to program a permanent Dialback
Number in the Gateway. In Fixed/Forced mode, the user cannot modify the Dialback Number via the
phone menu or the IVR system. However, Fixed/Force requires the Gateway to call the pre-assigned
Dialback Number before allowing access to PBX dialtone and features. As a result, this mode is the most
secure of all four modes.
Disabled Mode
Allows the user to call into the PBX/KTS to get dialtone to place outgoing calls to anywhere in the world
(assuming permission). In this mode, the ConneX PBXgateway does not route incoming calls to the
user's phone.

ConneX Call Prompts

When a ConneX user receives a call they will hear one of the following voice prompt:
Internal Call – This is call coming from within your corporate office. The user will hear "Internal Call".
External Call – This is a call coming from a caller outside of your corporate office. The user will hear
"External Call".
Priority Call (Definity Only) – This is a call coming from within your corporation, being processed by the
PBX. If the caller has the Priority Call button on their set programmed and the PBX has been properly
configured the call receiver will hear "Priority Call".
