1.3 Plotter Nomenclature
(1) Tool carriage .............Drives the cutter pen/pen/creasing tool to the forward/backward.
(2) Tool holder ................Holds the cutter pen/pen/creasing tool and drives it up/down.
(3) Pen station ...............Holds a pen.
(4) Y bar .........................Holds the tool carriage; moves left/right.
(5) Writing panel ............Cutting/plotting/creasing is performed here.
(6) Control panel ............Used to set and use the plotter's various functions.
(7) USB interface connector
............................Used to connect the plotter to a computer via the USB interface.
(8) RS-232C interface connector
............................Used to connect the plotter to a computer via the RS-232C interface.
(9) AC line inlet ..............Connect one end of the power cable here and the other end to an electrical socket.
(10) Power switch ...........Controls the on/off status of the power supply to the plotter.
(11) CHART HOLD key ..Used to hold the medium (FC4500-50 only).
(12) Pen-sensing rubber strip
............................Judgment of whether or not a pen is mounted is performed on this strip (FC4500-50/60 only).
