5.17 Scaling the Image Data

This function is used to expand or reduce the image data using the program origin as the starting point.
(1) Press the
[PAUSE] key to select PAUSE mode.
(2) Press the
[NEXT] key repeatedly until the following menu is displayed.

(3) Press the [F4] key (AREA OPT) to display the menu shown below.

(4) Press the [F4] key (SCALE) to display the scaling factor setting screen.

Scaling factors: 1 to 8, 1/8, 1/4, 1/2 (times)
The scaling factor value is increased by one increment by pressing the [
in the sequence below by pressing the [

(5) Press the
[PAUSE] key to cancel PAUSE mode.
This setting returns to SCALE =1 when the plotter is turned off.
When expansion was specified and the data values are too high, the data outside the plotting area is not cut and the
red PROMPT lamp on the control panel lights. In that case, either reduce the data values or lower the scaling factor.
