Mounting a plotting pen in the pen station
When a plotting pen has been mounted in your plotter's pen station, a plotting pen and a cutter pen can be used at the
same time.
Follow the procedure below to mount a plotting pen in the pen station. Take care not to touch the pen when the power is
turned on or while the plotter is operating. Such actions are dangerous.
If you wish to mount a cutter pen instead of a plotting pen in the pen station, use the PHP31-CB09-HS cutter plunger
and the CB09UA-5 blade that are sold separately.
(1) Use your fingers to open the pen-holding mechanism on the pen station, and then mount a pen.
(2) Close the pen-holding mechanism on the pen station to hold the pen in place.
Make sure that the upper part of the pen station bracket is engaged in the upper groove of the pen.
