4.10 Setting the Number of Detection Operations
This function sets the number of registration mark detection operations. If "SIMPLE" or "HI-SPEED" is
selected, detection is performed at one location. If "NORMAL" is selected, detection is performed at three
locations.
•
If a detection error occurs when "SIMPLE" or "HI-SPEED" has been selected, change your selection to "NORMAL".
•
The "HI-SPEED" setting is only enabled for registration mark patterns 1 and 2. If the registration mark pattern is 3 or
MIRROR, the "SIMPLE" setting takes effect.
•
Faint or fine lines may not be detected when "HI-SPEED" has been selected. Moreover, the precision may be lower
than that provided by the "NORMAL" setting. In such cases, change your selection to "NORMAL".
