Chapter 3 PREPARATIONS FOR CUTTING/PLOTTING

If your plotter is the FC4510-60 model

When mounting a cutter pen or creasing/scoring tool in the plotter, push the pen or tool all the way into the tool holder
until it contacts the upper part of the holder as shown in the figure below and then tighten the screw firmly to hold it in
place.
Take care not to touch the pen or tool tip when the power is turned on or while the plotter is operating. Such actions are
dangerous.
Be sure to mount the creasing/scoring tool in tool holder 2 on the Y bar.

(1) Loosen the tool holder screw sufficiently to enable a cutter pen or creasing/scoring tool to be inserted up to its flange.
(2) While pushing the tool holder in the upward direction, push the cutter pen or creasing/scoring tool all the way into the
holder until it contacts the upper part of the tool holder.
When you push the tool holder up with your fingers, take care not to touch the cutter blade.
