Chapter 3 PREPARATIONS FOR CUTTING/PLOTTING
(3) With the plotter in Ready status, press a key from [F1] to [F4] to select the COND No. for the creasing tool test.
Select either "CP001" as the cutter blade type.
(4) Use the [
] [
starting position for the cutting test.
(5) Press the
[TEST] key to display the creasing test selection screen.

(6) Press the [F1] key (TEST1) or [F3] key (TEST2) to crease a test pattern.
TEST1: Press the [F1] key to crease a single test pattern.
TEST2: Press the [F3] key to crease three test patterns (the first pattern is creased with the specified creasing
force -1, the second pattern is creased with the specified creasing force, and the third pattern is creased
with the specified creasing force +1).
Insufficient creasing force
Increase the creasing force
Check the creasing test patterns. If the pattern is only lightly creased, the creasing force is insufficient. Conversely,
if the pattern is deeply creased or the medium is cut, the creasing force is excessive.
(7) Press the
[CONDITIONS] key and adjust your settings.
(8) Repeat Steps (4) to (7) until you achieve the desired results.
(9) When the results are satisfactory, press the
Cutting a sample
This test allows you to cut a sample to check the plotter's operation.
(1) Load a medium for cutting the sample.
(2) Mount a cutter pen.
(3) With the plotter in Ready status, press a key from [F1] to [F4] to select the COND No. for the cutting test.
(4) Use the [

position for cutting the sample.
(5) Press the
[TEST] key to display the cutting test selection screen.
