Chapter 5 FUNCTION SETTINGS AND OPERATIONS

5.21 Setting the Step Pass

Use this function when you intend to cut extremely detailed data. The cutting data sent from the computer
will be processed in blocks corresponding to the number of steps specified by the STEP PASS function,
thereby ensuring consistent blade control and higher cutting quality.
(1) Press the
[PAUSE] key to select PAUSE mode.
(2) Press the
[NEXT] key repeatedly until the following menu is displayed.

(3) Press the [F2] key (OPTION1) to display the menu shown below.

(4) Press the [F4] key (STP PASS) to display the step pass setting screen.

Use the [

selection.
Setting range: 0 to 20 [Default value: 1]

If the STEP PASS setting is set too high, the cut shapes may become deformed. The recommended STEP PASS
setting is "STEP PASS= 1".
(5) Press the
[PAUSE] key to cancel PAUSE mode.
This setting is retained in the plotter's internal memory even while the plotter is turned off.
