Time zones
A time zone is an area consisting of several countries
and parts of larger countries in which the same officially-
regulated time applies.
The zone time indicates the difference between the local
time and UTC (Coordinated Universal Time), otherwise
known as GMT (Greenwich Mean Time).
For example, the time in Germany is:
