Explanation (checkbox)
SMTP server name of the email service provider.
IP port number
Name of the email account (usually the email address)
User name (depending on the provider, either the entire email address
or a separate user name)
Password for the email account
Note
This entry is case-sensitive.
Enabled
An encrypted connection (SSL) to the provider is established.
Deactivated
An unencrypted connection (SSL) to the provider is established.
Note
The alarm panel does not send information. A connec-
tion is only established when an e-mail is definitely sent,
starting with a handshake. The information is then sent
in accordance with the settings (e.g. encrypted or unen-
crypted) as well as the programmed texts and events.
