Upgrading the VMDB Voice Prompts
The IntraMail software is integrated into the UX5000 software. The IntraMail voice prompts (and messages)
are stored on the CompactFlash card that plugs into the CCPU blade. You will never have to do a separate
upgrade to get new IntraMail features, but you may need to upgrade the voice prompts stored on the Com-
pactFlash card to activate those new features.
1.
Be sure the UX5000 is powered down.
2.
Slide out the CompactFlash card (Figure 9: Removing the IntraMail CompactFlash Card).
3.
Use the IntraMail Utility to upgrade the CompactFlash card.
4.
When you are done upgrading the CompactFlash card:

You should never remove the IntraMail CompactFlash card with the UX5000 powered up.

Be sure to take adequate static precautions.

Slide out the CompactFlash card as shown below.

Reinstall the CompactFlash card.

Power up the UX5000 and verify proper operation.
