Connect devices as shown in Figure 3.1. Connect the terminators at both ends of the trunk, with
the minimum length of the spur laid for connection. The polarity of signal and power must be
maintained.

NOTE
No CHECK terminal is used for this product. Do not connect the field indicator and check meter.
IMPORTANT
If the flowmeter is connected with a parameter-setting tool, such as a PC, while being connected
with the upper system, it may disturb the communication operation on the bus, and cause the
operational failure of the system. Use the parameter-setting tool after taking preventive measures
of setting the related loop offline in advance.
