Requirements

Successful execution of steps 0.1, 0.2 and as an option step 0.3 from chapters 10.2.2, 10.2.3
and 10.2.4.
10.4.2 Step 1 – load definition files
Load the archive specified for each measuring cycle release using "Services", "Data in",
"Archive", "Cycles archive", "Measuring cycles" (\ARC\CYC\MCYC.DIR):
For measuring cycles SW6.2
DEFINES.ARC
JOGDEF.ARC
Notice
Only load the JOGDEF.ARC archive if ShopMill is not installed!
For measuring cycles SW6.3
DEFINES.ARC
JOGDEF.ARC
Select the GUD5.DEF and/or GUD6.DEF modules singly in the area "Services", "Manage
data", in the folder "Definitions" and press softkey "Activate".
Only for measuring in JOG measuring cycles SW 6.2 and SW 6.3
Select the GUD7_MC.DEF module in the area "Services", "Manage data", in the folder
"Definitions".
Press softkey "Load HD → NC".
Then select module GUD7.DEF and press softkey "Activate".
The following questions:
"Do you want to activate the definitions from file GUD7.DEF?" and if required "Should the
previous values for the definitions be retained?" on HMI should be answered with "Yes".
Note
The GUDs of the measuring cycles are therefore activated and can if necessary be viewed in
the "Parameter" area, "User data".
