10.3.7 Step 6 – activate measuring cycle support, configure
The entry softkeys "Measure turning" and "Measure milling" for measuring cycle support are
activated in the file AEDITOR.COM ("Services" are in the directory "Standard cycles") by
deleting the semicolons in front of the following lines:

The entry softkey "Measuring cycles" in the "Commissioning" area is activated in the file
STARTUP.COM ("Services" are in the directory "Standard cycles") by deleting the
semicolons in front of the following lines:

Press the etc. key ">" in the "Commissioning" area, then press the softkeys "Measuring
cycles", "Automatic measuring". A start-up screen in which the settings for the measuring
cycle screens can be undertaken is then displayed . The settings for the start-up screen are
saved in an integer type GUD field "_MZ_MASK". This is located in the GUD6 under NCK
global data.
