Creating a New Site for your Meter

6. Click "Finish" to complete installation.
The next time you power up the EM720 or connect it to
your PC with the USB cable, Windows automatically
launches the driver for your meter.
PAS keeps all communication and configuration data for
your meter in a configuration database called a site
database. During configuration store all setup data to the
site database so that PAS recognizes device properties
regardless of whether your meter is online or offline.
To create a new database for your meter:
1. Select Configuration from the Tools menu.
2. Click the Sites button on the right-hand-side.
