A digital speed controller has been integrated into the TNC 425.
The benefits of this concept are:
High dynamic response
High Kv factor
Trailing errors are virtually "nil"
No drift
High geometrical accuracy with high traverse speeds
Traverse speeds up to 60 m/min
Cycle times:
Contour interpolation 3 ms
Fine interpolation 0.6 ms
