1.1.2 Direction of traverse

The machine parameters MP210 and MP1040 determine the direction of traverse for the axes. The
direction of traverse for the axes of numerically controlled machine tools are defined by DIN (see
also under Sections "Axis designation" and "Commissioning and start-up procedure").
MP210 defines the counting direction for the measuring system signals. The counting direction
depends on the mounting orientation of the measuring systems.
