Many of the commands used to manage IMA groups are presented in two forms. For example, the
Tip
addimagrp command has the same parameters and serves the same function as the addaimgrp
command. ATM Inverse Multiplexing (AIM) is an older term that refers to the same features supported
by Inverse Multiplexing for ATM (IMA). If this feature is new to you, use the commands with ima in the
command name. If you are accustomed to using the commands with aim in the command name, you can
continue to use these commands.
