1. Turn off the main switch and unplug the power supply cord of the copier.
2. Remove the following parts:
A) Platen cover
B) Mounting stud (2 pcs)
C) Truss screw
D) Plastic screw
E) Left scale (2 screws)
F) Rear cover (3 screws)
G) ADF docking hole cap (2
NOTE: Save the above parts for future use.
3. Install the exposure glass holders [H] at the left side of the exposure
glass as shown (220/240 V only).
4. Set the flip scale [1] (with the flip scale spring [J]) on the original exit guide
[K]; then, mount it as shown (2 flathead screws).
!5. Secure two flathead shoulder screws [L] as shown in the figure.
6. Remove the strips of shipping tape [M].
