out or inserting the cleaning unit.
5. When installing the toner collection bottle cover, be sure that the hooks of
the transport plate are positioned underneath the bottle cover.
6. After replacing the cleaning solenoid, adjust the position of the cleaning
solenoid.
Fusing

When removing the fusing unit, keep it in an up-right position so that the

silicone oil does not spill.
2. After replacing the oil blade and oil supply pad, prime them with silicone
.
oil .
3. Be careful not to damage the edge of the hot roller strippers or their ten-
sion springs.
4. Do not touch the fusing lamp with bare hands.
5. Be sure that the fusing lamp is not in contact with the inner surface of the
hot roller.
6. Be sure that the oil end sensor contacts the bottom of the oil tank.
7. When paper creasing occurs, adjust the position of the entrance guide
plate or the fusing pressure.

Paper Feed

When replacing the friction pad, make sure that the friction pad is below

the surface of the front lip of the pad holder.
2 . When reinstalling the support bracket after cleaning the registration sen-
sor, make sure that the bracket is properly engaged with the groove of
the registration clutch stopper.
3 . When replacing the friction pad, adjust the gap between the feed roller
and the friction pad.
4 . Do not touch the feed roller and the friction pad with oily hands.
