17.2.1.6 SNMP Configuration Page
The SNMP Configuration page is activated from the Administration page.
The SNMP Configuration contains the following options/fields:

R GET community - allows GET operations to all
portions of the
570/570L modem MIBs.
SET community string - allows SET operations to
W
all portions of the
CDM-570/570L modem MIBs.
T Community String that will be set in the
Community field of all outgoing traps. This field
on the trap PDU may be checked by the network
manager application to determine if the trap
came from a "trusted" agent.
D IP address where all traps/notifications will be
sent. If a network management application is
running in the network, it should be configured to
receive traps and its IP address should be
entered here.
V Determines whether an SNMPv1 trap or
SNMPv2 notification is sent.
