Remedies for Service Call Error
Check Item
1. Check if the Roll Unit and the printer are correctly
connected with the cable.
2. Check the connection of the Roll Lock Sensor (CN607) for
disconnection and damage.
3. Check the connection between the SUB-D Board and Main
Board (CN600) for disconnection and damage.
4. Carry out "Sensor Check" to check if the Roll Lock Sensor
functions normally. (See P.394)
5. Carry out "Encoder Check" to check if the ATC Motor Assy
encoder functions normally. (See P.399)
1. Turn the power off and then on again to check if the printer
recovers from the error.
2. Check the connection between the AID Board and Main
Board for disconnection and damage (Main Board side:
CN8, AID Board side: CN1).
3. Carry out "AID Function Check" to check if the AID Board
functions normally. (See P.387)
Check and adjust the RTC status from "RTC&USB ID Check
and Adjustment" (See P.385).

Check the connecting part of Head FFC if there is any loose or
slant connection, or ripped terminals or the breaking of the
FFC (CN101, 102).
