FXS ports connect to analog telephones, fax machines, analog

modems, and door intercoms/openers.
The V6000 platform can be used with additional external gateways to
support further FXO or FXS connections, or T1/E1 PSTN lines at the same
site.
The VCX IP Telephony and IP Messaging applications and the Media
Gateway are separate functional units housed in the same chassis. The
applications and the Media Gateway must be configured separately.
