Using External power supply
This section details how to release the holding brakes using a external voltage supply. If the
positions of the robot axes are to be changed without connecting the controller, an external
voltage supply (24 V DC) must be connected to enable the brake release buttons on the robot.

1. Remove the screws and dismount the cover
on the back of the robot base.
2. Locate the R1.MP4-6 connector and
disconnect.
3. Connect an external power supply to
release the holding brake on all axis.
