15.1.2 Example of Connections to Yokogawa Electric's F3YP2-0P Positioning Module for Position Control
9. The SERVOPACK provides safety functions to protect people from the hazardous operation of the moving
parts of the machine. In order to use the safety functions, the required circuits must be configured for CN8.
If the safety functions will not be used, leave the enclosed Safety Jumper Connector connected to the
SERVOPACK (CN8). Refer to the following chapter for details.

Indicates shielded twisted-pair cable.
*2.
The pulse output from Yokogawa Electric's F3YP2-0P Positioning Module uses negative logic, so the positive
and negative connections are reversed.
Note: 1. Only signals that are applicable to the SERVOPACK and Yokogawa Electric's F3YP2-0P Positioning
Module are shown in the diagram.
2. Incorrect wiring may damage the Positioning Module or SERVOPACK. Wire all connections carefully.
3. Do not wire any unused signal lines (i.e., leave them open).
4. The above wiring diagram shows the connections for only one axis. If you will use other axes, performing
wiring to the SERVOPACK in the same way.
