Remove
the
front visor (page 2-5).
Disconnect
the
starter switch 2P
connector.
Check fo
r
continuity between
the
starter switch
con-
nector
t
erminals.
There should be continuity with
the
starter switch
depressed, and
no
continuity with
the
switch
released
.

REMOVALIINSTALLA TION
Remove the front visor (page 2-5).
loosen
the
lock
nut
and
remove the
tripmeter
cable.
Remove the nuts, washers and
tripmeter.
Insta1l
the
tripmeter is
in the reverse
order of
removal.
