Remove the following:

Fuel tank
(page 2-7)

left
engine
guard
(page 2·4)
-
Gearshift
pedal
(page
10-25)
Drain
the engine oil (page 3-17).
Remove the
wire
band.
Disconnect the alternator 4P
(Black)
connector
and
ignition pulse generator 2P (Black) connector.
loosen
the
bolts
in a crisscross
pattern in two
or
three
steps.
Remove the bolts
and
left
crankcase cover.
Remove the gasket
and
dowel
pins.
