Remove the valve lifters from the cylinder head .
• Shims may stick to the inside of the valve lifters.
Do not allow the shims to fall into the left crank-
case.
• Make all valve lifters to ensure correct reassem-
bly in their original locations.
Remove the shims.
• Be careful not to let the shims fall into the left
crankcase.
• Make all shims to ensure correct reassembly in
their original locations.
ROCKER ARM
CYLINDER HEADIVALVES
Remove the rocker arm shaft cap and O-ring from
IFm:CKFR~;;;:;S;:;:'FTCAP/(H
the cylinder head.
Thread a 7 mm bolt into the rocker arm shaft and
pull the rocker arm shaft out of the cylinder head .
Remove the rocker arm from the cylinder head.
