If the fork damper has not been disassembled from
the outer tube/slider, turn it upside down for 20 min-
utes and drain the oil from the inside of the outer
tube and slider completely ( 11.8 cc at 20 0C! 68 O F)
Amount of fork oil left in the fork
(with damper and spring)
Turn the lock nut SO the length from the rod end is
specified.
STANDARD: 11 - 13 mm (0.4- 0.5 in)
Wipe the oil completely off from the fo r k damper.
FORK DAMPER INSTAllATION
Wipe the oi l off completely from the fo r k spring.
Install the fork spring into the fork assembly.
Temporari ly install the fork damper assembly into
the fork assembly.
