DUST SEAL
Before
assembly,
wash all parts with a
high
flash
point
or
non-flammable
solvent
and wipe them dry.
OUTER
TUBE AND
SUDER
ASSEMBLY
Wrap the end of the slider with tape.
Coat the oil seal and dust
seal
lips
with
fork oil.
Instal
l
the dust
seal
and
stopper
ring onto the slider.
DUST
SEAL
Install the oil
seal
ont
o
the
slider
with
its
marked
side facing
the dust
seal.
Remove the tape from
the
end of the slider.

Be careful not to
damage the slider

Install the back-up ring, guide
bushing
and slider

NOTE

Remove the burrs from the bushing mating surface,
being
careful
not to peel
off
the coating.
