Carefully trim the protruding gasket material from
the cylinder base gasket surface.
NOTE:

Do not let gasket material fall into the
crankcase.

Check that the crankshaft turns
smoothly.
After 06:
Install a new washer and tighten the
transmission
drain bolt to the specified torque.

cam
chain tensioner bolt to the speci-

Coat the counters haft a-ring and inside of the
coun-
tershaft
collar
with grease.
Install
the a-ring and
collar
onto the
countershaft.
Install the remaining parts

the reverse order of
