CLUTCH/STARTER CLUTCH/KICKSTARTER/GEARSHIFT LINKAGE
Install the
clutch
pressure
plate.
Install the five
springs
and spring
bolts.
Tighten the bolts to the specified torque
in a criss-
cross
pattern
in
two or three steps.
TORQUE:

Check that the
clutch cover

is in
good

tion.
Replace if necessary.
Apply transmission
oil
to the O-ring and install the
clutch
cover.
Install and
tighten
the cover bolts
in a crisscross
pattern

oil leaks.

Unhook the kickstarter return
spring
from the
crank-
case.
Remove the
washer,
kickstarter
spindle assembly
and ratchet
spring.
