Replacement
Place a small amount of Rheolube 768 grease (P/N 070E00890) in the groove at the end of
each Transfix Load Arm before reattaching the Spring Hooks. Also, when replacing the
Grounding Springs on the Transfix Load Module, make sure the springs rest below the Transfix
Camshaft.
After replacing the Exit Module, perform ADJ 2.5.1, Wiper Alignment. Error code 7009.4x indi-
cates misalignment of the Wiper Assembly.

Removal
Use care not to damage the Drum while servicing the Pivot Plate. Feed a sheet of paper
between the Transfix Roller and Drum to protect the Drum surface during this procedure.
1.
Remove the Front Door (REP 1.0.1).
2.
Remove the Scanner Assembly with attached DADF (REP 1.0.11).
3.
Remove the Output Tray (REP 1.0.6).
4.
Remove the Right Side Cover (REP 1.0.21).
5.
Remove the Left Side Cover (REP 1.0.7).
6.
Remove the Drum Maintenance Kit.
7.
Remove the Preheater (REP 2.0.17).
8.
Remove the Drum Fan (REP 4.0.6).
9.
Remove the KL- Clip on the right end of the shaft and remove the shaft from the chassis
by pulling it out from the right side,

10. Disconnect P/J860 from the I/O Board.
11. Feed the harness through the hole in the chassis near the front of the Drum Assembly
while sliding the plate out the Drum Maintenance drawer cavity.
