Rear Master Cylinder Disassembly - Honda TRX450R Service Manual

HYDRAULIC BRAKE
Install the brake caliper assembly onto the knuckle
with new mounting bolts, and tighten the bolts.
TORQUE: 30 N-m (3.1 kgf m, 22 Ibf ft)
Rest the brake hose joint between the stoppers on
the caliper.
Connect the brake hose with the oil bolt and new
sealing washers, and tighten the oil bolt.
TORQUE: 34 N-m (3.5 kgf m, 25 Ibf ft)
Install the brake pads (page 19-8).
Fill and bleed the front brake hydraulic system
(page 19-6).

DISASSEMBLY
Drain the brake fluid from the rear brake hydraulic
system (page 19-5).
Remove the following:
- right mud guard (page 3-3)
- oil bolt
- sealing washers
- brake hose joint
two mounting bolts
rear brake light switch with stay
master cylinder from the frame
