FRONT WHEEL/SUSPENSION/STEERING

Align the punch
mark on the
handlebar with the
top edge of the
lower holder.

- upper holders
- handlebar
INSTALLATION
Install the handlebar and upper holders with the
punch marks facing forward. Tighten the front bolts
first, then tighten the rear bolts.
Align
PUNCH MARKS
Apply Honda Bond A, Pro Honda Hand Grip Cement
or equivalent to the inside surface of each handle-
bar grip and to the clean surfaces of the handlebar.
Wait 3 - 5 minutes and install the grips. Rotate the
grips for even application of the adhesive.
Install the grip end bolts and tighten them.
TORQUE: 12 N-m (1.2 kgf-m, 9 Ibf-ft)
Install the handlebar switch holder by aligning the
locating pin with the hole in the handlebar.
