INSPECTION
Clutch spring
Replace the clutch Measure the clutch spring free length.
SERVICE LIMIT: 44.7 mm (1.76 in)
springs as a set.
Clutch lifter piece/bearing/rod
Check the clutch lifter piece and needle bearing for
wear or damage.
Check the clutch lifter rod for bends or damage.

Clutch disc
Replace the clutch Check the clutch discs for signs of scoring or discol-
