Sending Faxes

This section describes basic fax sending
operations.
For more detailed operations, refer to the
User's Guide on the included driver CD.
1. Change the mode
Press the mode change key to change to the fax
mode.
NOTE
The message "Fax protected" appears on the
LCD if faxing has been prohibited and the ma-
chine will not change to the fax mode.

2. Load your document
l When loading the document on the ADF, load
with the side to be scanned facing up and the
top facing in.
l When loading the document on the ADF, load

l Change the basic settings as necessary.
