The charge roller gives the drum a negative charge.
An LED beam writes the print data on the drum.
The development roller applies toner to the latent image on the drum
surface.
The transfer roller moves the toner from the drum to the paper.
The separation plate helps to remove the paper from the drum.
The cleaning blade removes the remaining toner on the drum surface after
the image is transferred to the paper.
The light from the quenching lamp neutralizes the residual charge on the
drum surface.
