The configuration file is now saved.
For more information on using Nautica Wizard, including saving
and downloading configuration files, refer to the Nautica Wizard
Reference Guide on the router installation CD.
When the defcon verb is used on a router, all the parameters are
set back to the factory settings. The IP address is also changed to
a 10.0.0.0/8 address.
If you are using Telnet to access this router, the connection to the
router is lost as the IP address changes. If your PC can access the
entire network (via another router) re-establish a connection to
the default state router using the 10.1.1.1 default address.
If your PC cannot access the entire network, you need to
configure the router using Nautica Wizard. After a new IP address
has been entered using Nautica Wizard, a Telnet session can be
opened to the router directly or via Nautica Wizard itself
(Operations > Telnet to Router).
For more information on using Nautica Wizard refer to the
Nautica Wizard Reference Guide on the router installation CD.
