Classes and Class Objects

Classes contain the configured objects. They group the router
settings into more manageable sections. Class objects are created
or modified router settings.
For example, the System class contains the configured system#
object, and the Path class contains configured path# objects.
Objects contain parameters that allow you to configure them in
more detail. For information on the object parameters, refer to the
relevant chapter for the object within this manual.
There are 13 classes within the config mode. To move into a class
it is easier to use its MTD. The table below lists all the MTDs for
the classes.

Note:
Not all classes are available on all Nautica routers. The
Nautica 200 and the CLAM-IP, for example, do not support IPX
or RADIUS.
