An example configuration session follows. In this example, the specific
key value that is used sets x2 as the 56K protocol; however, the procedure
is identical for setting K56flex as the 56K protocol.
command: set56k
none
command: set56k <key value>
This will irrevocably set x2, and then reboot. Are you sure? y
Please answer yes or no: yes
Succeeded, rebooting.

Exchanging Your RAC

You may find that the needs of your dial-in users require you to change
the 56K protocol for a RAC. Once you have configured a RAC for a 56K
protocol, you cannot change the protocol.
If you need to exchange your RAC for one with a different 56K
protocol, call your Bay Networks sales representative for details
and instructions for making the exchange.

Accessing 56K Modem Statistics

The histcall, actcall, and modem -s commands display 56K speeds and
modulation.

Acquiring Software Upgrades

Check the Bay Networks Customer Support page on the World Wide Web
for the latest updates and patches to the digital modem code (point your
browser to www.baynetworks.com, then choose Service & Support,
followed by Service Online). Also, check your modem vendor's World
Wide Web page or BBS for the latest release of your modem's firmware.
