Upgrading from NauticaRS 4.114R or 4.042R

NauticaRS 4.114R and 4.024R do not support Trivial File
Transfer Protocol (TFTP). To upgrade to the new version of
software and re-use your existing configuration it is necessary to
manually save the configuration to a file first.

If your Terminal emulator supports session logging, turn
this on first in order to save the configuration to a text file
automatically).

Open up a Telnet session to your router and show the
configuration of the router using the following syntax:
sh -s config
where sh is the show verb, -s turns off scrolling and config
displays the router configuration.

Insert the setup CD into your PC.

Upgrade the router software by selecting the router in the
Nautica Wizard window
> Download New Router Software.

In the Select File to Download window
change to the \upgrade directory of the CD and select the
file to download

Click on Open in the Select File to Download window

Open up a DOS window and run the bcc-conv.exe file (in
the \upgrade directory of the installation CD) and convert
the existing configuration file to a Version 5 configuration
file.

In Nautica Wizard, click on File > Restore Router
