Assingning PPP Profiles to Outgoing Calls

117237-E Rev.00
Once created, profiles can be assigned to both outgoing and
incoming calls.
To assign a profile so that it affects only outgoing calls, the new
profile is applied to a path (Chapter 7). To assign a profile to a
path use the following syntax:
[co] [mod] pa type/name ppp-p profile-name
where co moves the router into config mode (if required), mod
activates the modify verb (optional), pa moves the BCC into the
path object, type/name specifies the path type and the name of the
path to be edited, ppp-p is the MTD for the ppp-profile
parameter and profile-name is the name of the profile.
The following shows how to assign the company profile to a PPP
path called 'Test':
ppp# mod pa ppp/test
path/ppp/test# ppp-p company
[Save] path/ppp/test#
The previous command can also be entered on one line:
bcc> co mod pa ppp/test ppp-p company
[Save] path/ppp/test#
