Setting Up IPX

10-2
The ipx# object is where IPX routes, SAPs, route filters and SAP
filters are created. If you are using IPX, it is important to enable
IPX routing.
IPX is enabled at the ipx# object. To move into IPX and enable
IPX routing, use the following syntax:
[co] ipx st en
where co moves the BCC into config mode (if required), ipx takes
you to the ipx# object, st is the MTD for the state parameter and
en is the MTD for the enable variable.
If you are routing in an IPX only environment, you may want to
disable IP routing (although there is no real requirement to do
this):
[co] ip routi di
where co moves the BCC into config mode (if required), ip takes
you to the ip# object, routi is the MTD for the routing parameter
and di is the MTD for the disable variable.
Caution:
Do not disable the IP state parameter as this stops
Telnet and Nautica Wizard from communicating with the router.
Typing i at the ipx# object prompt causes the BCC to list the
parameters. In the table below, click on the parameter for which
you require further assistance.
