Default DNS Entries
19-8
Default DNS entries allow a path to be specified for domains that
you have not already entered. To create a default DNS entry, use
the following syntax:
[co] dn ent default/pathname
Where co takes BCC into config mode (if required), dn takes you
to the dns# object, ent creates a new entry, default is the name for
the default entry, pathname is the path down which the default
domain can be reached.
Now, when you request a domain for which you do not have a
specific rule, this default rule is used.
Note:
If the dns-use-if-up parameter is selected on any open
path, this path is used to reach the requested domain rather than
the Default DNS entry.
