LMHost Entries

117237-E Rev.00
LAN Manager Host (LMHost) entries are mappings of server
names to IP addresses. They are stored locally on your PC, for
example in the c:\windows directory. Many of these entries are
learned automatically by the unit, but it is possible to create static
LMHost entries.
To list any existing entries, use the following syntax:
[co] [wi] ls -l
Where co moves BCC into config mode (if required), wi takes
you to the WINS object (if you are not already there) and ls -l lists
all the current objects.
To edit or create an LMHost entry, use the following syntax:
[co] [wi] [new|mod] lm name
Where co moves BCC into config mode (if required), wi takes
you to the WINS object (if you are not already there), new and
mod are the new and modify verbs (optional), lm is the MTD for
the LMHost object and name is the name of the server.
Using this syntax moves you into the LMHost object. Typing i at
the object prompt lists all the parameters for the attribute. In the
table below, click on the parameter for which you require further
assistance.
